The Atomic and Molecular Process Research Group, in Fusion Systems Research Division, Department of Helical Plasma Research, National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS) hosts the NIFS Atomic Database directed by Dr Izumi Murakami. This group is part of the DCN organised by the IAEA and their interest is to collate spectroscopic data (wavelengths) and chemical reaction data with collision data to provide more information for spectroscopic diagnostics and on study of atomic and molecular processes in fusion plasmas.
